Rasi’s Desire

“My Name is Rasi. I am in grade 9. I have a younger sister and my mum takes care of us. My father died when I was a baby. My mother worked hard and managed to send me and my sister to school but after few years she could not afford to pay the increasing amounts for our education anymore. Through people in the village my mother heard about Asha Kiran and decided to send me there. I enjoy my stay here at the Asha Kiran children home and feel blessed in every way. I have many friends and I love to play and sing for Jesus. I will soon be finishing grade 10 and once again have the feeling of uncertainty in my life. It’s my dream to go to school, continue my education and become a doctor. I know this is a big dream and I trust that God will help me.”
