Well Dug in Village of Nellivada

  • Nellivada Well

A bore well was dug in the village of Nellivada, an isolated village of 40 thousand people without safe drinking water. Before this well was dug there was a very high incident of water borne illness, and due to the caste system people were restricted from using the community well. Only high caste could use the well during day time, low caste (untouchable) people were able to use only in the late night.

By CBOH providing this bore well people irrespective of caste or creed are able to get fresh clean drinking water at anytime. We have already seen hope returning in the lives of the people of Nellivada, its amazing to see how, what seems so basic, can so greatly affect the lives of those in need.
